Wednesday Fast & Prayer: Be the Fire That Lasts!

As we fast and pray tomorrow, let us look at the life of John Wesley.

Wesley was all in for Jesus—24/7. He didn’t just burn bright for a moment and fade away. He carried a steady fire of prayer and holiness that discipled two nations—the UK and the USA.

He preached the gospel everywhere, riding thousands of miles on horseback. But his biggest impact came through small groups called “class meetings”—houses of prayer where everyday people learned to pray, live holy, and spread the gospel in their neighborhoods.

These weren’t just hype moments that died out—they were steady fires. For over 100 years, tens of thousands of prayer groups reshaped whole cities through prayer, fasting, holiness, and the gospel.

This is what we believe for our generation. That our churches will become houses of prayer again. That our student-led clubs and small groups will be like Wesley’s—fires of revival spreading in schools, neighborhoods, and homes!

“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” (Mark 11:17)

When you fast, pray, and give, you’re fueling something bigger than yourself. Revival doesn’t stop at the altar—it multiplies when we carry the gospel into every home, school, and street.

Let’s be the generation that doesn’t just spark—but burns steady for Jesus!

Blessings in Christ,
