Wednesday Fast & Prayer: Ezra’s Fast for Protection, Guidance, and Revival!

Before anything else—thank you for every prayer you’ve prayed and every dollar you’ve sown into this gospel mission. The spiritual battle is intense, but "thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)
Because of your faithful prayers and giving, we’re excited to share that God may be answering one of our biggest prayers—a new revivalist is lined up for the Atlanta high school club this fall! This has been an urgent need, and we believe God is providing a gospel laborer for this harvest field.
As we fast and pray tomorrow, let's remember Ezra’s fast (Ezra 8:21–23). Before leading God’s people back from exile to rebuild Jerusalem, Ezra called a fast at the river Ahava—seeking God’s protection and direction for a dangerous, uncertain journey.
“So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our entreaty.” —Ezra 8:23
Ezra could have trusted human protection—but instead, he trusted the living God. And God answered.
Today, our journey is different, but the stakes are just as urgent. We’re contending for the salvation and revival of a generation.
Specific Crossroads Prayer Targets:
Grow our Revival Zoom Calls: From 12 to 20 weekly calls, with attendance rising from 40 to 120+ students engaged in gospel-centered prayer.
Raise Up More Leaders: Pray for 3–5 new revivalist Zoom leaders to emerge, plus growth in all our Crossroads staff to become healthier, stronger, more passionate gospel revivalists.

Atlanta High School Revivalist: Pray for the new leader-in-process to be fully prepared and burning for gospel impact by fall.
Church Partnerships: Believe with us for 8 partner churches in Atlanta and 4 in Montgomery—each becoming hubs of prayer and gospel outreach to local schools.
Administrative Breakthrough: Pray for completion of our 2024 taxes ASAP and for strong administrative systems to sustain growth.
Personal Revival in Staff and Students: That we would fast from the world and feast on God’s love, walking in First Love passion (Revelation 2:4-5).
Revival Fire Across Every Meeting: For a fresh outpouring on Zoom calls, school clubs, and staff prayer times.
