Wednesday Fast: Joy in the Fast—Jesus Is Our Strength!

Thank you for being part of what God is doing! Every time you pray, fast, or open your heart to Jesus, you’re helping spread the gospel—the good news that changes everything.

As we fast tomorrow, remember this: worship, praise, and thanksgiving are powerful. They’re not just things we do—they’re who we become when we walk with Jesus. Psalm 63 says, “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will praise You.”

Even when fasting feels hard, keep praising. That’s what the Bible calls a sacrifice of praise—choosing joy when it’s not easy. God loves that kind of worship! The Word is your food, and praise is your water. As you read, sing, and pray, your faith grows stronger. “Without faith it’s impossible to please God,” and faith comes by hearing His Word.

When you thank God, even before you see the answer, it shows real faith. You’re saying, “God, I trust You!” That’s how the gospel starts to come alive inside you.

Also—don’t forget to enjoy life! The gospel is full of joy. Laugh. Play ball. Make music. Draw. Dance. Spend time outside. These things refresh your soul and help you become a healthy revivalist—someone full of life who carries God’s love everywhere.

So today, keep your heart open, your Bible close, and your praise loud. Let the joy of Jesus fill you up!

We’re proud of you and grateful for how you’re walking with Him!

Blessings in Christ,
FCS Club
