Social Media Fast—This Wednesday! FCS Club Launches September 25th!

Thank you for continuing to join the Wednesday fast! We are excited to announce that the FCS Club will launch on Thursday, September 25th (40 Chick Fil A mini chicken biscuits and two dozen donuts!). Come encounter Jesus. He is the Living Water for thirsty souls!

This Wednesday, we’re inviting you into a social media fast—laying down your phone and apps for 24 hours. Why? Because every time you put something down for Jesus, He fills that space with His power.

Caveat: Everything written here is shared as suggested guidelines. The most important thing is that you personally hear from God and respond to what He is asking you to do!

The Bible says:

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” (Romans 12:1–2)

Ways to Fast

  • No social media for 24 hours

  • Skip 1–2 meals

  • Liquids-only fast (12–24 hrs)

  • Or another fast God puts on your heart

This isn’t about rules—it’s about the gospel. It’s about making room for Jesus to fill you with His love and fire.

A Story of Revival

Hundreds of years ago, a young preacher named Jonathan Edwards fasted for 3 days before sharing a message called “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” When he spoke, revival broke out and spread through all 13 colonies. Why? Because God honors prayer and fasting.

A Warning for Today

Social media is full of distractions, lies, and confusion—even AI-generated junk. When you fast the world and feast on Christ, you get anchored in the truth of the gospel.

This Wednesday, let’s fast together. Let’s cry out for revival until the gospel burns bright in our schools, cities, and across our nation.

We’re in this together—let’s go!

Blessings in Christ,

FCS Club
