Keep Fasting and Feasting on Jesus and His Word This Summer!
What Does Truly Effective Fasting & Prayer Look Like—Even on Summer Break?
Summer break is here—but the call to Jesus hasn’t gone on vacation. While school pauses, our pursuit of Him only deepens. What if this summer became the season where you encountered Jesus like never before?
We’re inviting you to fast and pray today—not out of duty, but out of desire. This is how we stay burning.
Ministry to the Lord: Returning to Our First Love
“You have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember… repent… and do the works you did at first.” — Revelation 2:4–5
This summer, let your fast be your worship. Fasting is not first about changing the world—but about loving the One who does. Like Mary of Bethany (Luke 10:42), we sit at Jesus’ feet, choosing intimacy over activity. The best place to encounter God is in His Word!
A Fast of the World to Feast on His Love
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4
“My soul will be satisfied… when I remember You and meditate on You.” — Psalm 63:5–6
Biblical fasting is not starvation—it’s substitution. We give up earthly pleasures to feast on something far greater: His presence and His Word.
This summer, set aside intentional time to feast on God’s love letter—the Bible. Let the Scriptures become your daily bread, feeding your heart with truth. Let worship and prayer mark your mornings. Turn down the world’s volume so you can hear His whisper.
Co-Laboring with God: Releasing His Heart on Earth
“You shall be called the repairer of the breach…” — Isaiah 58:12
“It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” — Galatians 2:20
Fasting leads to fullness. When we are filled with God and His Word, we become carriers of His heart. Even on summer break, God is preparing you to be His voice and His vessel.
Summer Challenge:
Fast one day a week.
Spend time feasting on God’s Presence in worship and prayer.
Spend time feasting on God’s Word—His love letter to you.
Let this be a summer of fire. Let this be the summer you fell more in love with Jesus than ever before.
We’re with you. Let’s stay burning!
Blessings in Christ,
