Join Us Tomorrow — Fast, Pray, and Feast on God’s Word
Tomorrow is our Wednesday fast and prayer — here’s why it matters:
“Fast the world so you can feast on God’s love — His Presence and His Word.”
We’re setting aside distractions — maybe that’s skipping a meal, turning off social media, cutting the music — to give God our full attention and let Him fill us.
Here’s what God says to us:
Psalm 63:1 — “God, You are my God, I earnestly seek You; I thirst for You, my whole being longs for You.”
When we fast, we’re saying, “God, I want You more than anything else today!”John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.”
Jesus promises to satisfy the deep hunger and thirst in our hearts that nothing else can.James 4:8 — “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
When we come close to God, He promises to come close to us. Fasting opens the door for that closeness.Jeremiah 29:13 — “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”
God wants to be found — and when we go after Him with our whole heart, He shows up.Matthew 5:6 — “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
When we hunger for God’s ways, He fills us with His peace, joy, and purpose.
So tomorrow, even if it’s hard, let’s press in together:
➤ Pray for your school, your friends, and your family.
➤ Ask God to fill you with His love and power.
➤ Spend time in the Bible — even a short passage — and let Him speak to you.
We’re believing for revival in you, in our schools, and across this city! God is moving — and you’re part of it!
Blessings in Christ,
