Happy 4th of July!
Happy 4th of July!
Today we celebrate 249 years of American independence. Fireworks, cookouts, and flags remind us of the price that was paid for our freedom. But there's another kind of freedom we need even more—a freedom only Jesus can give.
Right now, there’s a battle going on for the heart of our nation—for truth, justice, and your generation. And guess what? God wants to use you in that battle.
“This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.”
As sons and daughters of the Most High God, we’re not just watching from the sidelines—we’re standing in prayer, believing God will move in our schools, cities, and nation.
Yes, we thank God for the freedoms in our country. But even more, we celebrate the freedom Jesus won for us on the cross—freedom from sin, shame, and fear.
“So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.” —John 8:36
A Moment That Changed History
Back in 1787, when America’s leaders were trying to write the Constitution, things got heated. They couldn’t agree. It looked like the plan might fall apart.
But in the middle of that mess, 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin stood up and said, “Why haven’t we prayed yet?” He reminded everyone that during the war, they prayed every day—and God answered. He told the whole room they needed God’s help again.
A man named Roger Sherman, a strong believer, backed him up. And from that day forward, every meeting opened in prayer. Guess what? Unity came. A solution was found. And the Constitution was written.
It wasn’t just politics. It was prayer.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” —Psalm 127:1
So today, as we enjoy the 4th of July, remember that you are part of something bigger. You are chosen to fight for revival, for truth, and for a generation that needs hope.
God wants to build something through YOU.
And it starts with prayer.
Let’s go after Him together!
Blessings in Christ,
