Ezra’s Fast, Your Generation—Wednesday Fast and Prayer for Revival!

Tomorrow for our Wednesday fast and prayer, let’s reflect on a powerful story from the Bible—Ezra’s fast for protection, guidance, and revival (Ezra 8:21–23).

Ezra was leading God’s people on a dangerous journey back home to rebuild Jerusalem. There were enemies waiting, and they didn’t know what was ahead. But instead of asking the king for soldiers and protection, Ezra called for a fast.

They stopped at the river. They humbled themselves. They prayed and said:

“So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our entreaty.” —Ezra 8:23

And guess what? God answered. God protected them. God showed up.

Today, we’re not facing the same journey Ezra was—but our mission is just as serious. We’re praying and fasting for the salvation and revival of a generation—your generation.

Why do we fast?

  • Because the gospel is too powerful to stay silent.

  • Because this generation doesn’t need hype—they need gospel breakthrough.

  • Because only Jesus can bring real freedom and transformation.

  • Whether you’ve fasted before or not, we’re inviting you to pray with us today.

  • Skip a meal, turn off distractions, open your Bible, and cry out to God.

Let’s believe together for a move of God that shakes our schools, our families, and our cities!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” —Romans 1:16

We’re praying for you—let’s keep going after Jesus together! Fast the world and feast on God’s love and Word!

Blessings in Christ,
