Brands Plucked from the Fire — Fast & Pray with Us Tomorrow!

Tomorrow as we fast and pray, we want to share a story that shows how God can take one life and use it to shake the world.

John Wesley was just a young man when, in 1738, he reluctantly went to a small Bible study in London. Around 9:15 p.m., the Holy Spirit touched him in such a real way that his heart was set on fire for Jesus. That moment changed everything. Wesley spent the rest of his life—until age 88—burning with passion for God and spreading the gospel around the world.

But Wesley’s story began even earlier. At just five years old, he was miraculously rescued from a house fire. His mom, Susanna Wesley, declared Zechariah 3:2 over him: “Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” She believed God had saved him for a great purpose—and He surely did.

God is still doing the same today. He rescues us, fills us, and sends us out. Just like Wesley, you are called to be a brand plucked from the fire—a generation marked by revival.

As we fast and pray tomorrow, let’s cling to the promises of Scripture for our lives, our families, and our schools. Let’s cry out for God to use us to ignite real revival in our generation!
