We are praising God for a powerful couple—Javan & Christine—who are 80% committed to stepping in as the revivalists at Atlanta High School. They began seeking God about this decision on Monday the 11th and will make their final choice by Wednesday afternoon.
We are deeply thankful for them, but even more, we are asking for God’s perfect will—that their decision would be a true “heaven-to-earth” choice. Pray for clarity, unity, and an unshakable sense of calling as they discern whether to step into this assignment to ignite revival among students.

The Fasted Life of Jonathan Edwards:
In the days of Jonathan Edwards, when the flame of the First Great Awakening burned across New England, the people of God gave themselves to what he called extraordinary prayer—seasons of fasting, humble confession, and earnest pleading for the outpouring of the Spirit.
Edwards himself would often set aside an entire day—sunrise to sunset—without food, with Bible in hand, praying for the souls of his congregation and for the advance of the gospel to the ends of the earth. He taught that fasting was not to earn favor with God, but to awaken holy hunger, to humble ourselves, and to prepare the way for the Lord’s visitation.
When the Spirit’s presence seemed to wane, Edwards called the churches to unite in what became known as the Concert of Prayer—believers in different towns, even nations, agreeing together to fast and pray for revival, confident that “God stands ready to hear the united cries of His people.”
Friends, we are in such a day now. The need is urgent. The hour is late. The fields are white unto harvest. Let us not be content with ordinary prayer when the hour calls for extraordinary prayer. Let us, like Edwards, give ourselves wholly to God in fasting and supplication, believing that He who shook New England can yet shake America again!
