The Atlanta club will begin on September 25th with Javan and Christine leading. We are so thankful to have such a healthy and humble couple sharing the gospel with our precious students! May God pour out His Spirit in Atlanta and Montgomery this year (Acts 2:17)!
As we fast and pray tomorrow, we want to remind you of something so simple that we often overlook: the power of total focus on God’s Word. Breakthrough doesn’t come when our hearts are pulled in every direction—it comes when we fast the world to feast on God’s Word and His Presence.
Radical breakthroughs don’t come through a mixed meditation—a little of the Word and a little of the world. They come when our attention is fully set on God’s Word and His love, when we consecrate ourselves completely to Him. That’s the price of seeing His power break in—not striving, but single-hearted devotion.
Many never see the fruit of faith because we only skim the Word instead of dwelling in it until it sinks deep. But when the Word truly takes root, faith rises like fire in the heart—ready to be released through believing, speaking, praising, and acting.
Here are three anchors for your time in the Word:
Mark 11:23–24 – Believe you have received before you see it.
Mark 5:34 – “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
Philippians 4:13 – Answer every question of doubt with, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
This is not about striving. It’s about consecration—setting aside lesser voices so the Spirit can write God’s promises on your heart. A fasted lifestyle isn’t punishment, it’s preparation: it clears the static so His Word grows louder, His love grows stronger, and your faith runs unhindered.
Galatians 5:6 says:
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.”
Outward badges don’t move heaven—love does. And love is the very atmosphere where faith breathes. When love rules the heart, faith flows unhindered—because we trust God’s character and seek His glory, not our own.
Let’s consecrate ourselves afresh today—not under heavy burdens, but under love. Faith will rise. Breakthrough will come. Not because of us, but because His Word never fails!
Pressing in with you,
Joseph and the Crossroads Team
