Trusting in The GOOD News of Jesus Christ!

Good morning [$FirstName]!

Here’s a small glimpse into what the Spirit of God is doing on campus!

This week, we centered our time on the importance of not just hearing the Good News - but truly trusting in it.

As we gathered, students were walked through a clear and relatable picture of why Jesus came. Life apart from Him was described as already heading toward danger, like walking distracted into oncoming traffic. But in love, Jesus stepped in, took the hit for us, and made a way for us to live.

The focus wasn’t just on understanding this truth - but responding to & engaging the truth, who is Jesus.

Students were challenged with a simple but powerful question: Do you trust that what Jesus did was for you?Because it’s not enough to simply know about His sacrifice - there has to be personal trust that His death truly covers our sin.

A key phrase that carried throughout the gathering was: “forgive and change.” Students were reminded that when we trust in Jesus, He doesn’t just forgive our sins - He transforms our lives.

There was a noticeable attentiveness in the room as students reflected on their own lives - many recognizing their need for forgiveness and being invited to take a step toward trusting God personally.

We’re continuing to see hunger grow beyond the gathering:

~ Students staying after to ask deeper questions about faith

~ Meaningful conversations around what it actually looks like to trust Jesus

~ A growing openness to personal transformation, not just information

~ It’s been encouraging to see students move from simply hearing the gospel to beginning to consider what it means to place their trust in it. He is moving, He is working, He is speaking!

Pray With Us:

~ That students would place genuine trust in the Good News of Jesus

~ For courage to respond personally and not hold back

~ For continued openness and spiritual hunger across campus

~ For lives to be not only forgiven, but truly changed
