John 3:16 - This is the Gospel
God is continuing to move powerfully on campus with REVIVAL fire,
and this week at a Jesus Encounter Club gathering at our local high school, we witnessed Him bring freedom, boldness, and hunger for the gospel among students.
Going into this time, a word of knowledge was received that many students had been experiencing tormenting thoughts over the recent break - lies from the enemy that had been weighing on their minds. When students were asked to respond, over half acknowledged they had been struggling in this way. This opened the door for a powerful moment of ministry.
We had a strong team present, stepping out in faith to pray and lead students into truth and freedom.
During the gathering, students were led through a time of prayer where hands were laid on them, and they boldly declared the truth of God’s Word over their lives - that they have the mind of Christ, and that as sons and daughters of God, they have authority in Jesus’ name over anything trying to influence their thoughts.
We saw students respond with faith, stepping into identity, authority, and freedom.
One of the most encouraging moments came when a young man approached afterward and asked how he could practically share the Word of God across his campus. This is exactly what we’ve been praying for - that students would not only receive, but begin to boldly spread the gospel themselves. He was encouraged to seek the Lord for words of wisdom and knowledge and to be attentive to those around him who may need encouragement, truth, and hope.
We are seeing students not just impacted - but activated.
We also had meaningful conversations with two students who shared how much the club has impacted their relationship with God. Because of family limitations, they are unable to attend church regularly, but expressed deep gratitude that they are able to encounter God and grow in their faith through what is happening on campus.
