Thanks for Joining Our 40 Day Fast for America!
Today ends our 40 days of praying and fasting for America. Thank you so much for joining us! Let's continue to cry out for our nation and fast and pray each Wednesday for our precious students and schools! Revival is NOW!
We’re believing for a mighty move of God in Atlanta and across the nation! At the Atlanta high school, we’re laying the foundation for revival through the One Club vision—launching four discipleship groups: 12 parents, 12 male students, 12female students, and 12 teachers. Pray for a bold, consecrated leader to rise up and carry this fire forward! As this work grows in Atlanta, our House of Prayer at Crossroads is expanding too—we’re moving toward 20 weekly Zoom prayer meetings with 200 intercessors united in faith. Let’s keep pressing in!
My Beloved Child,
I am Jesus—your Savior, Creator, and the One who formed you with love (John 1:3: “Through Him all things were made”; Psalm 139:13: “You knit me together in my mother’s womb”). I see your heart, your pain, and your desire for more of Me. Whether it’s arthritis in your hip or the weight of life, I invite you to fast and pray—not as a burden, but as a way to draw near, letting go of the world’s noise and feasting on My love.
Fasting: Turning from the World
Fasting is more than skipping a meal—it’s turning your heart from distractions to focus on Me. Whether you fast from food, social media, or worry, you’re making space for My presence.
Prayer: Feasting on My Love
Prayer is where you receive the Father’s love, hear My voice, and are filled with the Spirit’s strength. Together, fasting and prayer bring deep rest—even in pain.
1. Fast in Secret – Matthew 6:16–18
“Your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Let your fast be between us. Set down your burdens like a weary traveler and find rest in My presence. Even one skipped meal or a moment away from your phone can become a sacred offering.
2. Find Rest in Me – Matthew 11:28–30
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Come to Me with your weariness. Let go of striving and lean into My peace. I will carry you. Stretch gently, pray simply, and trust that I am near.
3. Feast on the Bread of Life – John 6:35
“I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry.”
I am your true nourishment. Fasting empties you of the world, but prayer fills you with Me. Meditate on My Word and let My love strengthen your spirit and body.
4. Long for My Return – Mark 2:19–20
“When the bridegroom is taken from them, then they will fast.”
Fasting is a love cry for My nearness. You’re My beloved Bride. Prepare your heart for Me with worship and simple devotion. Even in your pain, My joy is your strength.
Caring for Your Body
Honor the body I gave you. Talk to your doctor if fasting from food. Choose gentle fasts, eat nourishing meals, and stay hydrated. “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst” (John 4:14). A simple prayer or a whispered “Jesus, help me” is enough.
Live a Life of Love
Fasting and prayer are not just acts—they’re a lifestyle. Even in suffering, “the peace of God… will guard your hearts” (Philippians 4:7) and “the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). Don’t strive—just come. “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
With endless love,
Jesus
