With great expectancy, we will gather with thousands to lift high the name of Jesus, cry out for America’s healing, and believe for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Gen Z!
This Wednesday, we also invite you into a special fast: a social media fast. Inspired by an Atlanta high school—where students are required to put away their phones all day—we are challenging everyone to lay down their phones and all social media for 24 hours.
Scripture calls us to consecration:
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” (Romans 12:1–2)
Ways to Fast This Wednesday
Social media fast (24 hours)
Skip 1–2 meals
A 12–24 hour liquids-only fast
Or another fast the Lord places on your heart
This isn’t about legalism—it’s about the gospel. When we lay down distractions, we make room for Jesus to renew our hearts with the gospel’s power.
Testimony of Fasting & Revival
Jonathan Edwards once fasted for 3 days before preaching his sermon on repentance, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God.” That message sparked revival and spread like wildfire through all 13 colonies. The gospel advanced because God answered prayer and fasting!
A Warning for Our Generation
YouTube and social media may look harmless, but many videos are increasingly filled with distortions, even AI-generated lies. The enemy sows confusion. But when we fast the noise and fill our minds with the gospel, we anchor ourselves in truth.
This Wednesday, let’s fast the world and feast on Christ. Let’s cry out for revival until the gospel fire burns across our schools, cities, and nation.
