Join us for the Wednesday Fast and National Day of Prayer!
Thank you for faithfully joining us for Wednesday Fast and Prayer (Fast the world, feast on God’s love and Word—God is in His Word)! Don’t forget—this Thursday is the National Day of Prayer!
This website is a great resource for intercession:

Let’s keep pressing in for the 12-12-12-12 vision at the Atlanta high school club—believing for a gospel outpouring and consecrated revivalist to arise and lead these gatherings! Also, let’s lift up the five clubs in Montgomery, especially the university club, where 5-10 students have recently begun attending a staffer’s church. We believe God is stirring hearts—and He is on the move! There’s still much to map out technologically and financially, but by God’s grace and mercy, we will see this vision grow and multiply!
Today, as we fast, we are standing in the rich stream of American history, where prayer and fasting shaped the destiny of a nation. Did you know?
Since 1775, there have been 1,526 state and federal calls for national prayer—and counting!
Between 1776 and 1820, over 1,500 public calls for fasting and prayer were issued at the federal, state, and local levels.
In 1775, the first Continental Congress called the colonies to fast and pray for wisdom in forming a new nation.
In 1863, President Lincoln proclaimed a day of "humiliation, fasting, and prayer" during the Civil War.
In 1952, Congress formally established the National Day of Prayer, signed into law by President Truman.
In 1988, President Reagan designated it as the first Thursday in May—where it remains today.
Since 1952, every U.S. president has signed a National Day of Prayer proclamation, underscoring that prayer remains essential to America's heritage and future. In fact, 35 of our 46 Presidents have signed proclamations for national prayer. Though three presidents passed away in office before signing, others like William Howard Taft and Warren G. Harding issued calls for Thanksgiving and prayer. This powerful tradition reminds us that America was birthed in prayer and reverence for the God of the Bible.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) as we fast and pray, let’s focus on:
Radical salvation among Gen Z and Gen Alpha
A true national turning back to the Lord with repentance
Wisdom and the fear of God for America's leaders
A sweeping revival across schools, campuses, and communities
Thursday: National Day of Prayer
Join millions across America in lifting up our nation wherever you are—at school, at work, at home.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” —2 Chronicles 7:14
Let's keep fasting the world to feast on God's love and Word.
Real weeping can lead to real reaping.
The harvest is great, and the time is NOW!
United for the harvest,
