Fasting the World to Flame a Generation

We live in a culture that operates in active rebellion against God. Every day, the spirit of this world screams noise and compromised truths, tempting believers to conform, compromise, and settle for spiritual apathy.

But we are called to something radically different.

Theologian Karl Barth once noted: "To clasp the hands in prayer is the beginning of an uprising against the spirit of the world."

Choosing to fast is not merely an exercise in self-denial; it is a declaration of spiritual war. It is an intentional decision to lock in, tune out the noise of the age, and press into a genuine move of God. When we fast, we refuse to partake in what does not honor Him—we fast the world so we can feast on His presence.

Led by the Spirit of Truth

Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 2:12, "Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God."

God has not left us ill-equipped. Through the Holy Spirit, He has provided everything required to live a holy, set-apart life in the middle of a dark generation. Holiness cannot be forsaken or delayed—it is the foundation upon which revival is built. As we surrender our desires, renounce worldly influences, and hunger for His truth, the Holy Spirit aligns our hearts with His.

The Spark for Gen Z and Gen Alpha

Our heart’s cry during this fast goes beyond our personal spiritual walk: we are interceding for a holy fire to ignite Gen Z and Gen Alpha. God is preparing a generation to rise up, unashamed of the Gospel, and transformed by the reality of Jesus.

As we seek Him together, we stand in prayer for breakthrough across our movement:

  • Personal Consecration: Discerning and renouncing the ways we have allowed the spirit of the world into our lives, exchanging them for a hunger for holiness and the Spirit of Truth.

  • Gen Z & Gen Alpha Revival: Praying for a deep, desperate longing for God to sweep through young people, lighting up this generation for Jesus.

  • Kingdom Expansion: Believing God for 12 new Houses of Prayer to be birthed, 30 self-supporting staff members to be raised up, and 120 dedicated revival intercessors to stand on the wall.

Lock in. Fast sin, renounce the world, and press into His presence—let’s watch Him move.
