The Gift of Access Is Approaching the Throne with Confidence

Prayer is one of the most profound gifts granted to the believer. Yet, because it is always available, it can be easy to overlook the extraordinary cost paid to secure it.

Our reconciliation with the Father was bought with the precious blood of Jesus. It was His sacrifice on the cross that tore the temple curtain from top to bottom, removing the barrier that once separated humanity from the presence of God. This direct access is not something to be taken for granted; it is sacred, powerful, and meant to be actively pursued.

"The greatest power that God has given any individual is the power of prayer."

— Kathryn Kuhlman

Boldness Through the Blood of Christ

Prayer carries true spiritual authority because it gives us direct audience with the Creator of the universe. Through the righteousness of Christ, no believer is hindered or kept at a distance from His presence.

The author of Hebrews highlights the confidence this reality brings to our spiritual walk:

"Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water."

— Hebrews 10:19–22 (NASB)

When we fast and pray, we honor the sacrifice of Jesus by actively stepping through the veil He tore open. It is an act of gratitude that replaces passive belief with vibrant, intentional communion.

Guided Prayer and Intercession

As we combine fasting with prayer today, let us give thanks for the bold, confident access we now have to the Father, centering our hearts on these focal points:

  • Bold Approach: Drawing near to God in full assurance of faith, relying entirely on the righteousness of Christ.

  • Overcoming Obstacles: Overthrowing spirit-dampening doubt and rooting out subtle spiritual complacency.

  • Relational Depth: Moving beyond surface-level routines into genuine, meaningful conversation with the Father.

  • Generational Discipleship: Contending for the intentional spiritual formation of Generation Z and Generation Alpha.

  • Spiritual Characteristics: Praying for a widespread posture of holiness, spiritual hunger, and true humility across the Church.

  • Generational Revival: Asking God to ignite and spread revival fire across young people globally.

  • Kingdom Infrastructure:

    • The establishment and growth of Houses of Prayer.

    • The provision and raising up of dedicated self-supporting staff.

    • 120 revival intercessors standing firmly in the gap.

Stepping Into What’s Ahead

When believers align their hearts with the Father through confident prayer, real transformation takes place—in individual lives, across communities, and throughout entire generations. By maintaining a sharp focus on eternal realities, we position ourselves to participate in the greater work God is doing today.

For those desiring to deepen their walk, cultivate consistent prayer habits, and connect with a community of believers, weekly online discipleship groups continue throughout the summer via Zoom.
