School is Out! What’s Next?
Another wonderful year …
comes to a close this week! We are in awe of what the Spirit of God has done in the lives of our students & we close out the school year with sobriety and deep gratitude in our hearts.
For some, it was their last meeting and for others we will see them once again in the fall. Either way, we know that we have consistently had the opportunity to infuse them with the Word of God, surround them with consistant prayer by name both online & in person, and expose them to the tangible presence of God. They've been marked by the Spirit of God Himself and we really believe they are forever changed. We believe the Living Word has been ingrafted into their hearts and trust that the power of the gospel is working and will continue to work for years to come.
Not just that, but we have seen tanglible fruit. Over the last year we have stressed the true meaning of salvation and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We have not invited students into a lukewarm Christianity but rather a Christianity that is impossible in man's strength, but possible by grace. One that ensures a heart that's alive to the Holy Spirit and on fire for Jesus. Only He can stoke the flame of our hearts but He needs full yielded surrender and He takes great delight in those who will say 'yes'.
We have seen an incredible amount of freedom from sin, deliverace, healing and grown in deeper realtionship with many of our students.
In fact, we have seen roughly:
~ 15+ salvations/rededications
~ 150+ requesting personal prayer and engagement
~ 10+ committing to weekly discipleship/prayer zoom
~ 10+ emerginig leaders
Our hearts have been filled with compassion towards them and from the overflow of our hearts we continue to pray that all would be saved and drawn deeper into relationship with Jesus Christ.
This week we left them with this challenge:
Consecrating their summers to the Lord in Holiness
They responded with open hearts and hope that the grace of God is able to keep them this summer.
Summer Plans
We are launching a summer disipleship program that we want to invite you into prayer for. We will be going through the book of John together and engaging students at a deeper level of the Word. They'll be given opportunites to speak, to encourage, and to pray from thier own hearts. We believe that summer is the perfect time to go deeper.
Please pray for us as we prepare for:
~ zooms at a higher level of engagement
~ monthly outings
~ facilitating connection to local churches.
This would not be possible without our staff, volunteers, and especially our prayer warriors. We are so greatful for the harvest at hand and particularly want to take this moment to honor them and say thank you!
