Let Light Shine in the Darkness!

Jesus is shining brightly on campuses!

We had the opportunity to share a powerful and honest message with students about sin, purpose, and the hope we have in Jesus. In a world where many young people are surrounded by confusion, pressure, and darkness, we are grateful for every opportunity to shine the light of Christ and point students back to the life they were created to live.

This Week...

During our gathering, students were invited into a real and open conversation about the question: "Who is right with God?"

We began talking about the kinds of things that separate people from God: lying, cheating, hatred, sexual sin, jealousy, etc. As students reflected on this list, many realized something important: we have all fallen short....Oh how we ALL need Jesus!

Jesus is the only one who can save! Students were challenged to understand that sin is not simply breaking rules—sin is deviating in any way from the design and purpose we were uniquely created for. We shared that every person was created to reflect God, and when we drift from Him, life begins to break down and lose its intended design.

But the good news of the GOSPEL is that God does not leave us in that place. Students heard that God loves them and invites them back into relationship with Him. Even in the darkness and brokenness many experience, Jesus offers a way to return to the life we were meant to live in and with Him.

Students were invited to stay afterward if they wanted to talk more about turning away from sin and beginning to walk with God. Seeds were planted as students listened, reflected, and considered what it means for Jesus to bring light into their lives.

Testimonies:

• Students were deeply engaged in the discussion, reflecting on their own lives and relationship with God.
• The room leaned in as the message moved from conviction to hope in God’s invitation to return to Him.
• Several students stayed behind afterward to continue conversations about faith and what it means to change direction and follow God.

Pray With Us:

• That the seeds planted through this message would take root in students’ hearts.
• That students would recognize their need for God and respond to His invitation to return to Him.
• That Jesus would continue to shine His light into the darkness many students are facing.
• For continued opportunities to preach the gospel clearly and boldly on this campus.

Here's how you can partner with us & how it helps:

• Equip teams to share the gospel with students on campus
• Provide resources that help start conversations about faith
• Support ongoing ministry opportunities to reach students with the message of Jesus
