Urgent Prayer for the Kirk Family, TPUSA & Our Nation
By now, most of you have heard the heartbreaking news: Charlie Kirk, Founder of Turning Point USA, was tragically shot and has passed away. The loss of his voice and life is felt deeply, not only by his family and TPUSA, but also across the nation.
Charlie was known not only for defending biblical values and freedom, but also for encouraging dialogue. He consistently reminded us that we must engage—even with those we disagree with politically—peacefully and respectfully. His example reminds us that truth and love must walk hand in hand, and that conversation matters in healing the deep divisions of our nation.
In moments like this, Scripture calls us to “weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15) and to carry one another’s burdens in prayer.
Please join us in lifting up:
· Erika Kirk, their children, and family — that the Lord Himself would comfort them. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4).
· Turning Point USA — that Charlie’s vision to equip and inspire the next generation would continue with boldness. “Grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness” (Acts 4:29).
· Our nation and college campuses — that fear and hatred would be broken, and revival would sweep across America. “Revive your work in the midst of the years… in wrath remember mercy” (Habakkuk 3:2).
· The Church — that we would not give way to fear but shine Christ’s light in a dark hour. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).

Though we grieve, we hold fast to hope in Christ. History shows that when darkness strikes, God often brings awakening. May Charlie’s legacy stir us to deeper prayer, courage, and faithfulness to the gospel—and may we continue the work of engaging with truth, love, and peace.
Let’s cry out to God for Erika, their family, TPUSA, and our nation in this critical time.
