Christ Lifted up in High Schools!
Here’s a small glimpse into what the Spirit of God is doing on campus!
As many students are on spring break this week, we wanted to share a look back at what God did last week on campus.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been anchoring our time in John 3:16—allowing the truth of God’s love to take root in students’ hearts. Last week, we continued building on that foundation, helping students not only understand His love, but begin responding to it in their everyday lives. We also brought in 1 Thessalonians 5, encouraging them with what it looks like to walk that out—rejoicing always, praying continually, and giving thanks in every circumstance.
A Testimony from the Week (Student Leadership):
One of the most powerful moments came before the gathering even began. A student showed up at 7:10 a.m.—40 minutes early—just to help serve, set up chairs, and prepare the room.
This wasn’t asked of them. It was simply a response.
It’s a glimpse of what God is doing beneath the surface—students not just attending, but beginning to take ownership, step into leadership, and live out their faith in tangible ways.
A Testimony from Discipleship (Girls Zoom):
During this week’s girls discipleship Zoom call, we saw a deeply powerful moment unfold.
One student began openly repenting and making the decision to break free from toxic relationships in her life. It was a genuine step toward freedom and alignment with what God is calling her into.
Then, unexpectedly, another student felt led to begin interceding for Iran. This wasn’t prompted or planned—but as she stepped out in obedience, it led the entire group into a moment of unified prayer for the nations.
One by one, the girls leaned in and began to pray.
It was a powerful picture of the Lord stirring intercession in this generation—provoking hearts, leading them, and drawing them into something bigger than themselves. Not just hearing about prayer, but actually stepping into it.
Key Updates from Last Week:
~ A strong, peaceful atmosphere marked the entire gathering, with a clear sense of God’s presence from start to finish
~ Two volunteers joined and helped create a welcoming and spiritually rich environment
~ A clear gospel message was shared, pointing students to Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection through the lens of John 3:16
~ Many students came forward for prayer, opening up about personal and family struggles and receiving encouragement
~ Hundreds of John 3:16 flyers were distributed across campus, helping students engage with and memorize Scripture
~ Students continue to grow through weekly discipleship Zoom calls, leaning into conversations around faith, leadership, and life transformation
It’s been encouraging to watch students move from simply hearing John 3:16 to truly living in light of it—responding to His love, stepping out in faith, and beginning to take ownership of their walk with God.
He is moving, He is working, He is speaking!
