25K Matching Gift Challenge and Wednesday Fast: “Lord, Bend Us”—Why Tarrying Still Matters!
We’re living in a critical hour. But because of your prayers and generosity, the gospel is advancing, students are being reached, and revival is beginning to stir across our schools and cities!
God is also showing up powerfully on our Zoom prayer calls—where leaders and intercessors are gathering weekly to seek His face. Intercession is at the heart of Crossroads, and we believe these prayer calls are fueling the move of God we’re seeing in Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and beyond.
Right now, we’re asking the Lord to expand these calls from 12 to 20 each week, with over 120 participants praying, fasting, and believing for another Great Awakening in America.
And you can be a part of that breakthrough.
Thanks to a generous $25,000 Matching Gift Challenge, every dollar you give right now will be doubled—multiplying your impact and helping us reach more students with the gospel and strengthen the foundation of prayer behind it all. SEE BELOW how to give today and transform 100's of students from lost to being 'born again'!
We are also reaching out to find a REVIVALIST for the Atlanta high school this week. We have had some great leads and are following up on those now!

But more than anything, this is a moment to seek the Lord like never before.
As we fast and pray tomorrow, we’re returning to a lost word—tarry.
To tarry means to wait—to linger, to stay, to refuse to rush out of the place of prayer. And when we look at revival history, it’s clear: God often moves in power when His people are willing to wait.
One of the clearest pictures of this comes from Evan Roberts and the Welsh Revival of 1904.
Evan was just a 25-year-old coal miner with a heart that burned for God. He wasn’t a celebrity preacher. He didn’t have a massive platform. What he had was a secret place—a lifestyle of tarrying in prayer.
Roberts began crying out, “Lord, bend me”—not just bend others, but me. Not just change the world—change me first. That simple prayer, birthed in brokenness and fire, became the spark of a nationwide move of God.
According to those who knew him, Roberts would weep in prayer for hours. He once said, “I have built the altar and laid the wood in order and have prepared the offering. Now let the fire come.”
And it did. Wales was transformed. Over 100,000 came to Christ in just a few months. Crime rates dropped. Entire towns were changed. And it all began with one young man tarrying before the Lord.
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” —Isaiah 40:31
“The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.” —Lamentations 3:25
“But as for me, the nearness of God is my good…” —Psalm 73:28
As we fast and pray together, let’s not rush. Let’s wait on the Lord. Let’s ask Him to bend us, to refine us, and to fill us again with gospel fire.
Because our world doesn’t need more noise—it needs the gospel.
And revival begins when we slow down enough to truly love Jesus again!
Thank you again for all you do to support Crossroads. None of this would be possible without you!
Let’s tarry together,
Joseph and the Crossroads Team
